ATTN: all foreign selena’s fans

Let’s do it!
Let’s tell our American friends how difficult it is to be Selenafan if you don’t live in the USA.
It is a big problem to buy Selena's CD, DVD, magazines & books.
Maybe then you can understand that signed for us to be Selena’s fan!
I start.
I’m from Russia.
In my country no radio station play Selena's music. No one now! In 1994-1996 there was one, but not anyone.
I can’t go  to the next street on the bookshop and buy any book about Selena. Or go to the kiosk and buy some new magazines.
When I go to music shop I can’t find her CD or DVD now. It was possible in 1994-1997, but not anymore.
Some years ago it wasn’t a big problem to buy Selena's CDs. I could pre-order in 3 biggest online shops, pay and it is received in one month. But now  it’s big problem.
After toughening of customs rules our online shops prefer to work with popular artists.
For example, the first disk of Johnny Canales we waited almost for 7 months and paid for it for 2-4 times more, than it cost in the USA. Just because some fans live in different part of the country.
The second JC DVD we waiting almost 1 year!
After 6 months of waiting the shop has notified us on removal of our orders. They have raised the price for a disk and have decided that it isn't necessary to us. When we started to write and call with questions, they have refused to return money and have suggested to replace with other goods.
As a result, only 3 of us could get the DVD. The rest had to look for another possible ways to find it. You can says – what about amazon & ebay?
Right! But not all and us have possibility to make purchase on amazon.com.
And about ebay - not all sellers wish to send the goods to Russia or we faced a deceit at purchases.
Buy we are trying! We try to use any possibility.
There are intermediaries who are ready to buy for us any goods on amazon but they as a rule demand from us a lot of money for the services. When we wanted to buy one magazine, cost 5 dollars, we had to pay 45. It is expensive! Therefore we prefer to share expenses.
Now a lot of American fans worry that can't find the new People en espanol & new Chris book. But it isn't terrible!
I’m sure, in a week all who want it will be able to  get it, but not us.
There is one American Internet bookshop and in it is possible to order this book. They deliver books to the different countries, including  Russia.
BUT:  If our American fans can buy it for $10-13, that for us it costs $32 & we going to wait 9 month before we can receive it.
You  don’t understand, guys, as you lucky what you lives in USA.
You are really lucky!
And we are glad for you.
Many of you have already started to read the book and are ready to discuss it but many foreign fans break meanwhile the heads, as though it to catch.
I write this letter with one purpose - to explain to you, that not everybody is so lucky. Maybe after reading my story, you will understand it? And please – think about it before you complain that somebody spoiled a surprise, if someone spreads on the Internet of a photo and video.
And we very are grateful to all of those who does scans of magazines, share rare photos and video.
Because we can't watch the American TV and at the same time with you read articles about Selena.
